WHAT WE DO
RIVER TRIPS
The most popular feature of our club is our tour schedule. Over 100 trips are scheduled between April and September on local and not-so-local rivers. Trips range from novice to advanced/extreme with something for everyone. These member managed (coordinated) trips are a great way to meet people and experience the wonderful waterways of Western Canada and beyond.

LESSONS
We offer quality canoe and kayak lessons for members and the general public including Flatwater and River skills, novice to intermediate plus levels. Introduce your children to paddling through our affordable, fun summer daycamps for youth ages 7-17. All instructors are certified (ARCA/CRCA)*

RENTALS
BWCC has a current fleet of approximately 40 canoes & kayaks available for rent to members. They range from flatwater to fully outfitted tandem and solo whitewater canoes. Associated equipment is also available at competitive rates.

NORDIC SKIING
In the winter, our Nordic Skiing schedule and Jackrabbit program provide lots of activity while we wait for the snow to melt. Over 25 trips are scheduled from November to April including backcountry, telemark and groomed trails for all levels.

SOCIAL EVENTS
With over 350 members, there are lots of opportunities for members to get together and socialize. Apart from monthly meetings, annual events include film and video nights, river cleanups, potluck dinners and BBQ's.
