Fun Facts: The Kananaskis River was named by explorer Captain John Palliser in 1858, the name comes from the Cree "Kin-e-a-kis", a warrior who purportedly survived an axe blow to the head.

Description: Excellent for practicing eddy turns and ferries. Some tight turns & surf spots. Potential for sweepers
Difficulties of Rapids: some ledges, almost continuous whitewater, Santa Claws, Mountain wave , Green Tongue and other drops, race course
